The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra should be released in the first quarter of next year.
Rumors suggest that Samsung Galaxy S24 will officially launch on January 17, 2019. More speculations have appeared on the web as the launch date rumored approaches. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the flagship model. The upcoming flagship is expected to have the same camera hardware and software as its predecessor, Galaxy S23 Ultra. However, there may be some AI-based enhancements. Samsung will likely keep the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 24-megapixel camera resolution as the default. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a quad-rear camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels.
Ahmed Qwaider, a tipster on X’s (formerly Twitter), suggests Samsung will include a default 24-megapixel camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This rumor, if true, would represent a significant upgrade over the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s default resolution camera of 12 Megapixels. Apple’s iPhone 15 series captures images with a resolution of 24 megapixels by default.
The tipster also claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Photo Remaster will be the first feature to debut on the device. The latest Galaxy Book 4 Laptops already have this AI-based function that automatically removes shadows and reflections from photos. The feature will probably include three options — Portrait, Remaster, or Delete. It also comes with an ND (neutral-density) filter to adjust the light in RAW photos while preserving colors.
