Pete Davidson, 30, unexpectedly pulled the plug on several scheduled comedy performances between now and the start of 2017. According to reports, Pete had scheduled appearances at Beacon Theatre in New York City’s Times Square over Friday and Saturday nights but suddenly canceled them only hours before each show’s scheduled start time. Theater officials provided ticket purchasers with assurances of full reimbursement within 30 days.
Ticketmaster confirmed to TMZ that Pete canceled all remaining concerts between December 26 and January 4, which are slated to occur across Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. Several venues had posted updates citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the source for cancellation.
As soon as the news broke, users quickly took to the web to express their anger and disappointment in this turn of events. A user wrote the fact that they were about go to an evening at the Pete Davidson show, only to learn that it was removed 2.5 hours before.
